Frances M. Rister
Frances M. (Taylor) Rister is a photographer and digital artist from Cortland, Ohio. She is currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree at Kent State University, specializing in Computer Graphics and Technology.
“From a young age I have always been very artistic. Once I got into high school, a new world opened up for me, photography. It gave me a new passion that I never knew before. I loved working in the darkroom, developing the photos, and printing them on my own. It gave me an understanding that I lacked just having them printed elsewhere.
Now, with the advent of the digital age, I can get a better quality, sharper image than ever before. Using the computer, I can touch up images and create a variety of special works as well.
With a strong eye for detail and the encouragement of friends, family, and colleagues, I have decided to take the next step in my life and become a professional photographer.
I hope to work with you soon and make memories to last a lifetime.“
